BreiTraum is our Artistname.

We are 2 young man from Germany who loves psytrance and electronic music. My name is Benjamin, you can call me Ben and with my friend Milan togheter we are BreiTraum. We produce Psytrance and Ambient since 1998. If you want to know where we played our music you are welcome to read this in our review-section. We produce and play music without any commercial interests, we do it just for fun and to bring fun to others. This is the reason why you can book us "normal cases" only for free! You have only to pay for our costs for comming, eating, drinking, smoking and sleeping.
We play a progressive style of psytrance and a groovy style of ambient. You can listen to our music in our MP3-Area.

More about us

The meaning of our artist name is a german one and a little bit complicate to explain. But i'll try to. BreiTraum have lots of definitions in germany and also you won't find it in a dictionary. "Breit" with a small letter "t" means stoned. "raum" is the german wort for room. In this constilation it means "stonedroom". Traum with a big letter "T" is the german word for dream. If you see this way of writing the artist name with a big letter "T" stants fot a "tt" it means "Breittraum" in engl. stoned dream."Brei" is the german word for pulp. So this gives us a other way to see the name: pulp dream or pulp room. When I was fiveteen I got my first music software. I try a little with this programm and made a song. This song I named BreiTraum and I desiced that if I will ever make music by myself or present music to others, my artist name will be BreiTraum.
Now we play live and produce music by ourself and we are little proud about it. but not too much. Because sometimes if you have more money to buy more equipment (That we need!) we will and are (hope so) able to produce our style in a higher sound quality.

Thats one of the reasons why I started to work. The "testtime" is over now and I hope I will have more time to start with my friend new productions. In the end of the summer I will live in hamburg and there I will start a new project with new sounds.
